Opel Agila Microsite
The Opel Agila is not the prettiest car in the Vauxhall/Opel range and this proved a creative challenge to market. It was a small city car produced between 200 and 2014 as rebadged variant of the Suzuki Wagon.
The solution was to give the Opel Agila a personality and emphasise its eco friendliness (48mpg) and practicality (tall interior and fold down back seats). An idea that was ahead of its time. The microsite was designed in predominantly shades of green with simple illustrations and photographs showing Mediterranean sunny skies and green countryside.
These series of layouts below concentrate on the cars interior space with the various seat combinations, paint colour choices and small engine sizes. All with simple rollover interactivity. Each page had a short paragraph to highlight the features coupled with a secondary illustration from the owners manual.
The final Opel Agila microsite launched alongside an animated banner campaign and a flash screen-saver.
